Ingersheim, wind turbine
Besides the earth's rotation, the wind turbine in Ingersheim, illuminated by the Moon, is the second rotating element in the image. At the beginning of the series, the rotor was still turning too fast, so that the area swept by the rotor blades was barely visible in the images. Later, the wind died down, the rotor turned more slowly and 30 images could be superimposed for the wind turbine.
The cloud at the bottom of the image is generated by the cooling tower of the nuclear power plant in Neckarwestheim.
