IC 443 - Jellyfish Nebula in the constellation Gemini (Twins)
IC 443 is located between the easily visible stars Propus (η Geminorum) and Tejat (µ Geminorum) in the constellation Gemini. It is a supernova remnant in which the gas masses were ejected into space in a violent stellar explosion. The brightest part of the nebula resembles a jellyfish floating to the upper left, together with its tentacles.
