Cometary globule CG 11 in the constellation Sagittarius
The cometary globule CG11 can often be found at the edge of short focal length images of the much better known star formation region around NGC 6723 in the constellation Corona Australis. I think this delicate molecular cloud should also be the center of attention. The small wisps of nebulosity across the lower half of the image are particularly exciting.
