Northern Lights Norway 28.10.2025

On the third day of our trip, we experienced the aurora highlight of the entire week. Through gaps in the clouds in the early evening, the first bright structures appeared and grew increasingly intense over time. Again and again, vivid red hues swept through the shapes, which continuously shifted from radiant flaring bursts to elegant arching curtains and finally to a more uniform, calmer aurora around midnight.

Later on, more clouds moved in and brought this extraordinary aurora display to an end, although there was still hope for tomorrow.
