LDN 673 - Dark Nebula in the constellation Aquila (Eagle)
LDN 673 is a strongly segmented molecular cloud complex in the constellation Eagle. It lies in the middle of the so-called "Aquila Rift", an area of the Milky Way which is full of dark nebulae. The mass of the clouds is estimated to one million solar masses, enough material for the formation of numerous new stars.
