Nebulae around NGC 2170 in the constellation Monoceros
The region around NGC 2170 is a large complex of emission and reflection nebulae in the constellation Monoceros. The nebulae are embedded in a larger star-forming region called Monoceros R2, which is about twice as far away as the neighboring Orion Nebula.
