Local Group

The Local Group describes the small cluster of galaxies to which our Milky Way belongs. The largest members of the group are, besides our home galaxy, the Andromeda Galaxy and Messier 33 in the constellation Triangulum. In addition, there is a large number of smaller dwarf galaxies.
